Displacer Level Switch

Displacer Level Switch works based on buoyancy principle is the

upward force a fluid exerts on an object. Archimedes Principle is the

fact that buoyant force is equal to the weight of the displaced fluid.

the Displacer is a floating deadweight which keeps the spring

mechanism loaded, as the level of fluid rises the weight of the

displacer is suspended and it actuates the spring mechanism. The

mechanism for actuation and switching is based on LVDT sensor, it

means for Linear Variable Differential Transformer which in

simplified term called inductive transducer. the magnetic core

moves as per weight suspension received due to rise and fall of fluid

level, primary core is applied with Input AC Voltage, Output coil is

calibrated to operate in the 4 to 20mA current range. Number of

Displacers weights are used as per the Level at which switching is

required by the customer.
